How do I register as a broker?
Click on new broker registration on the homepage. We will register you and confirm your login details via email.
If I don’t complete an application straight away, how long do I have to do so?
The system will display applications for upto 30 days from inception date. They remain stored in our system until you decide to take up the quote.
If I need to make a claim on behalf of my client, what should I do?
Simply download and complete a claim form available on the claims page. You can call or email us if you have any questions or are unsure about what to do.
Is my client insured if I complete and accept an application after normal business hours or on the weekend?
Yes, iconstruct operates 24 hours a day 7 days a week. Only referral risks will require further consideration and subsequent confirmation.
I’m in the construction industry – can I purchase my insurance through iconstruct?
No, iconstruct only deals with brokers licensed under the FSRA. If you don’t have a broker then find a broker at www.needabroker.com.au
How much commission does the broker receive?
Supporting brokers will receive a commission rate of 20% on all iconstruct products.
What are the credit terms provided by iconstruct?
Iconstruct provides 60 days credit to all registered brokers. Our terms of credit are effective from the policy inception date. Credit terms will not be extended, and failure to pay will automatically cancel the policy.
What happens when a risk is referred to iconstruct?
The system will not allow you to quote outside the scope of our underwriting guidelines. Therefore if you have a client that does not fit within the underwriting parameters of the website, the system will automatically REFER and not allow you to proceed to quote stage. Iconstruct will contact you within 24 hours of receipt of your application during normal business hours.
